About the Show

A love letter to the era of tail fins, twang and turboprops.

Our Story

Cars, Guitars & Planes is a one-day celebration of the post-war American era — the chrome, the music, the swagger, and the aircraft that came roaring out of the same decade. We're bringing pre-1979 classics together under the wings of the museum's historic airframes, with live rockabilly bands playing the soundtrack, food trucks serving throwback fare, and a pin-up contest crowning the queen of the show.

Hosted on Veterans Day at March Field Museum, the show doubles as a fundraiser for U.S. Vets Inland Empire, an organization that provides housing, career training and support to local veterans. Bring the family — this one's for everyone.

The Venue

March Field Air Museum sits on the grounds of the former March Air Force Base in Riverside, California. The outdoor tarmac gives us room to spread the cars out beneath the bombers and fighters — a backdrop you won't find at any other show in Southern California.

The Cause

The event's proceeds benefit three local organizations — the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce, U.S. Vets Inland Empire, and the March Field Air Museum — plus other participating local Chambers of Commerce. Together they support veterans, strengthen local business, and preserve the aviation history that gives the show its home.
